This past week at Segue and at our Sunday Morning Pulse worship time we were led by David Gamboa and Blake Quimby on their 1000 Stories Tour. Their tour was completely free and sole purpose was to raise awareness for the Minor Foundation. If you click the link for the tour you can find out all about their story. Anyways, I met David about 6 months ago after hearing quite a bit about his music around San Antonio. He played the Accoustic Stage at Segue Late Night a few times and then this past week led us in worship. While his style is more folk/accoustic than I'm normally drawn to, his music is engaging and lyrics have great depth. I have no doubt that he'll be back many times as he's quickly become a favorite in our ministry. I encourage you to check out his music on MySpace and think about purchasing on iTunes. Well worth adding to your regular playlist on the iPod.
