This past semester at Rockbridge Seminary we read Dan Kimball's book: They Like Jesus but Not the Church. While I disagree with many of Kimball's beliefs, I respect his ministry greatly. Kimball's message is challenging for Christians to read and how much some of our actions that came from good intentions have so misrepresented Jesus Christ to this world. Incredibly thought provoking book that I believe all Christians should read whether you agree or disagree with the Emergent movement.

Remind me to send you the pdf doc from Barna's survey (80+ pages)here in Houston. He has come up with the same conclusion both here and across the US.
